About The Louisville Ghost Hunters Society:
The Louisville Ghost Hunters Society was founded in 1996 by President Keith Age as a way for the general public to have their questions answered regarding possible hauntings and paranormal activity they may be experiencing.
Besides trying to answer general questions, The Louisville Ghost Hunters Society conducts scientific based paranormal investigations of private homes and businesses throughout the Kentucky and Indiana area. All investigations are strictly confidential and free-of-charge.
Following an investigation, the owner of the property is given a written report detailing the results of the investigation.
True, documentable, paranormal activity occurs in only about 1% of the cases we undertake. In many instances we can eliminate peoples fears and put their minds at ease. Simply explaining what is taking place is our main goal. In the rare cases where actual paranormal activity may be present we will try to document it and determine the possible cause.
Our investigations are based on scientific measures and we do not employ the use of mediums or psychics. We interview the owners and other witnesses, take photographs, record using both audio and video equipment, and take sample electromagnetic readings throughout the structure. By the end of the investigation and after compiling the data we have recorded, we can have a fairly good idea if any activity is present in the location.
So if you have anything occurring that may lead you to believe your home or business is haunted, we would be happy to set up an investigation at your convenience. If you are experiencing "cold spots" throughout your home, have witnessed apparitions, heard unexplainable voices, detected noises which you cannot determine a cause for, or have lost and misplaced items only to have them turn up later in a different location, you might want to contact the Louisville Ghost Hunters Society. We are here to help.

About Keith Age-Founder:
Keith Age, President and Founder of the Louisville Ghost Hunters Society based in Louisville, Kentucky started this group back in 1996 as a way for the general public to have their questions answered regarding paranormal activity and as a teaching aid for other start up paranormal based groups in the Kentucky and Indiana region. Mr. Age himself has devoted nearly a quarter of a century to researching and investigating reportedly haunted sites and has worked with some of the leading experts in the field of paranormal studies. He has been American Ghost Society Kentucky Rep since 1998.
His organization, the Louisville Ghost Hunters Society, is one of the largest and most respected groups of it's kind in the United States with over 1100 on-line members and 81 on-site investigators. They have conducted numerous scientific based investigations down through the years and all of their investigations are conducted free-of-charge and, unless the persons involved desire a public investigation, all of the findings are strictly confidential. Investigations are conducted in a non-metaphysical manner, meaning that no mediums or psychics are employed and that the results are based on actual video and audio recordings, electromagnetic readings and a great deal of background research of both the people involved and the houses or businesses that are claiming paranormal activity. Some of the more well known and public investigations have included the Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, the Willard Library in Evansville, Indiana and Bobby Mackey's Music World outside of Covington, Kentucky.
Keith is fond of saying that 99% of what he and the Louisville Ghost Hunters investigate turns out to be rather ordinary and explainable, but it is that final 1% that cannot be readily explained and that is what keeps him coming back for more and trying to discover the answers to questions people have been asking for thousands of years. Do ghosts exist, is there life after death, and can the dead still make their presence known to the living? Keith Age, and the Louisville Ghost Hunters Society, have been asking those questions for years and continue to do so. Hopefully, through the efforts of the Louisville Ghost Hunters Society and similar paranormal organizations and their continued research, one day in the future those questions can be answered.
If you have any questions regarding possible paranormal activity in your home or business, or would like to schedule a preliminary investigation at your location, please contact LGHS President Keith Age at kage@louisvilleghs.com for further information. We are here to help.
Charitable Events:
The Louisville Ghost Hunters Society, which started out in 1996 as a group to research and investigate reported paranormal phenomena, has over the years developed into a group that gives back to the community. LGHS, being a non-profit organization, has donated both time and money to support various charities throughout the Kentuckiana area.
In the past these charities have included the Crusade for Children, St. Joseph Orphanage, the American Juvenile Arthritis Foundation of Kentucky, Toys for Tots, the Make A Wish Foundation, Project Zambia, and others. (This past fall in fact was the third year in a row in which LGHS presented the Pleasure Ridge Park Fire Department a check in the amount of $10,000 for the Crusade for Children) Besides helping with these great causes, LGHS has also spent the last few years adopting needy children or their families during the Christmas season by providing them with toys, clothing, and monetary assistance.
Members are asked to contribute what they can in some cases and in every instance we have tried to bring a small bit of happiness to those less fortunate during a difficult time of the year. Many LGHS members, most of whom hold full time jobs, have devoted countless hours of their time in supporting and insuring that these worthy causes receive the recognition and help they so richly deserve. Striving to make their community a better place, the Louisville Ghost Hunters Society is proud to lend a hand to those in need and will continue to do so in the future.
